Background

Fish is one of the main products of Hafne, besides its shipping. It provides an important part of the diet.

Location Description

This is the centre of trade in Hafne, fish being the main produce of this town. Apart from fresh fish in all sizes and shapes there are small stands with baked & smoked fish, shell fish and fish eggs ready to serve the hungry. Merchants call out their prizes, tempting passers by to taste. Sailors try to sell jewelry made from shells, and statues they cut from wood in their spare time on board of the ships. The sounds of traders yelling, the crying of the seagulls and the ever present wind merge into one buzz of activity, with the ever invading smell of fish attacking the senses.
