The Dort Mail Monopoly was established in the early days of the rule of Erwin von-zu Dort-Billigh. Operated through the Pecunia temples it means that all mail goes through the operatives of the Furst. It is a smooth running operation that seldom causes scandal. Nonetheless diplomatic missions in the Citadel have started the habit of sending their diplomatic mail through independent means, usually their own portal.
Because of the Mail Monopoly each pecunia temple also has a portal system, which anybody can use against a fee.
