History

The Triangle between the three islands is as much geographical as it is economical. Situated in a rough triangle around the southern hem of the Citadel, these islands have all had their dealings with the capital of the Empire in one way or the other in the past and present.

Aveas

After the War of the One subsided, Both Dort and Aveas found themselves radically changed by the events pertaining to the incursion of King Balthasar's forces on Pan's Isle. After this island was occupied by forces from World's Mouth, a trade route was established with nearby islands aswell as the Western Kingdom. This was a solid attempt from the Mouth to gain income from what used to be a very costly affair for them. The trade for coffee had always cost them dearly, dealing with the Panlings. Now with the island of coffee in hand, they sought to deal in the precious substance themselves. But found they were sorely mistaken. Panling guerilla fighters from the Thorns of Pan, based in and around Seinor have taken to disrupting the production of coffee as much as possible and seizing shipments for sale through their own harbor which to this day remains hidden from the forces of the Mouth.

Sierra

With the relatively recent arrival of the University of Magick on the island, trade between the town of Réalt and the other islands has picked up. Explorers are coming in to either visit the university or to explore the vast expanse of jungle which covers great portions of the island. It is rumored that artifacts from within the jungle's confines are making their way out into the civilized world, and are quite sought after by scholars and collectors.

Dort

With the invasion of Gulanadur by a mysterious race of dark beings, spawning seemingly from within the underground cities own tunnels, many of the inhabitants of the lower tiers of the city have sought refuge elsewhere. While the lower soldier and merchant castes had to seek refuge on the surface in and around Fort Dusk, many of the nobility and priesthood left through the portal in the temple of Molten which inevitably led to an exodus of dark adhiel into what is now known as Darktown.
