Category talk:Biographies

Naming policy
I would suggest that biography articles should use the individual's full name, without titles where possible, rather than a shortened version. The shorter versions should redirect to the full name page (e.g. Barrett to Barrett Threespan). --Morg 10:33, 30 March 2007 (CEST)
Categorization policy
I know we did this differently in the past but I would suggest based on what I've done at AoI that the following categorization makes sense:
- Biographies
- NPC
- (Location 1) NPC's
- (Location 2) NPC's
- PC
- (Location 1) PC's
- (Location 2) PC's
- whatever subcategory you can come up with for instance by race, rulers, affiliation etc.
- (Location 1) whatever subcategory you can come up with for instance by race, rulers etc.
- (Location 2) whatever subcategory you can come up with for instance by race, rulers etc.
- NPC
And of course also:
- Location 1
- (Location 1) NPC's
- (Location 1) PC's
- (Location 1) whatever subcategory you can come up with for instance by race, rulers etc.
Thoughts?

- That makes sense. Have you seen my suggestion in Wiki projects and new improvements? It's in a similar vein. I mainly want to avoid redundant categories and have been going through systematically stripping characters of excessive ones. --Morg 23:55, 8 January 2008 (CET)
